Scott Kennedy is a seasoned film executive with a distinguished career in theatrical distribution, marketing, and exhibition. As the Founder and CEO of Falling Forward Films, he leads the company’s mission to bring compelling and commercially viable films to audiences nationwide.
With decades of experience in the industry, Scott has played a key role in the release of hundreds of films, from major studio blockbusters to critically acclaimed independent features. Prior to founding Falling Forward Films, he held leadership positions at Miramax Films and Open Road Films, overseeing the theatrical distribution of award-winning titles such as No Country for Old Men, Spotlight, The Grey, and Nightcrawler.
Under his leadership, Falling Forward Films has successfully distributed films like Reagan, Goodrich, The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, Day of the Fight, and Los Frikis. His expertise in strategic distribution, audience engagement, and theatrical exhibition ensures that each film reaches its full potential at the box office.
